9 weeks!

This week has been pretty uneventful. I think I have figured out what
is causing the nauseousness. I don't think I have been eating enough.
I have never been much of a snack person. All of my weight yo-yo has
been due to poor lunch and dinner choices. So learning how to snack
right has been a challenge. I went to Whole Foods last night and got
some Luna bars, almonds, peanut butter, and protein enhanced pretzels.
If you have any suggestions, I would be thrilled! I am so sick of
being sick. It makes it hard to put out a stellar first foot forward
in a new job when you don't feel well. I have been getting great
feedback on early projects, so I don't think I am slacking too much,
and my boss knew me before, so that is helpful. This morning I had my
first discussion with my child. It went like this: Nugget, look, can I
just have today without getting sick? Please. I need to feel good
today. I am going to act like you control this today. So, be nice.
Love you. (light scratching in circles on my tummy) Today has been a
good day. Better snacks or heart to heart- you decide.

I miss Jeff and Nyxie like the deserts miss the rain but am grateful
that I at least am not alone. Paige has been quite the hostess. When I
came in from work yesterday, I got sick and Paige had laid out a rag
on the sink for me like she just knew. That is a great friend! Paige
has also planned a dinner Thursday at a Mexican restaurant to intro me
to more people!

Our house went on the market Wednesday, and John already had someone
viewing it on Saturday. They were first time homebuyers who gave
positive feedback overall, but the realtor said they haven't liked
anything so far. Guess I should bury a St. Joe out front, huh Mary Jo?

Here is what Nugget is up to this week:
Nugget is growing fingers and toes, and even has eyelids! This week
the gender is starting to show itself, but won't be visible to us for
a couple of weeks. As of right now, not sure if we will find out the
gender when we can. I am sure there are firm thoughts out there about
this. So, have at it!!
