Now, that we are all caught up. Here is what is going on with me now! I'm hungry constantly, and Nugget isn't fond of anything that is good for me. Last night, I ate with Jeff at Ruby Tuesday's and was sick TWICE following the salad bar. I was trying to be good! Kelly said that I should just name our baby Taco, because it clearly likes junk food.
I've been sick several times this past week. I'm not as tired as I was during the day, but I crash hard at night. I've been staying with Paige during the week, and God bless her! Some nights she gets home and I am snoring on her couch. I'm not providing near the entertainment of our early twenties. I'm sure she expected more, but Pixel has been a blessing, since I miss my dog!
Jeff is amazing! I don't know what I expected out of him, but he is quick with a cold rag, some ice water, whatever I need, and even rubs my back and stays with me when I am home and getting ill. He has also single-handedly prepared our house for sale. He has stripped wallpaper, re-plastered walls, painted 5 rooms, cleaned to the dickens, managed the laundry, etc. He deserves a medal! The pics were taken today by our fantastic realtor, John Congleton, and we are going to the market! Hopefully, Jeff and I will get to live under the same roof really soon!
I am at my new job, and it is going really well. It is amazing the difference in your introduction when people are excited about you coming to work there! My boss is incredibly understanding, especially since I have been late a couple of times due to not being able to leave the bathroom. Yuck. I'm trying to be a trooper. Sincerely.
This week, Nugget is pretty busy too! Nugget is approximately .63 inches, and is weighing in at a hearty .04 oz. Estimates, of course. According to my handy iphone app that is tracking all of this... we know the following:
~Nugget's head is proportionally larger than the rest of the body.
~Nugget's ears and eyelids are developing!
~Fingers and toes are developing from the arm and leg buds which now have wrists and elbows that can even flex!
Can't wait to see what Nugget gets into next week.
Ugh, sickness, yuck! I feel for you! I had it horribly & it was all day, anytime! I was miserable & lost 15lbs! The wierdest things made me almost instantly throw up too, like Ben's deoderant, mine too (I switched 3 times!) the smell of the freezer, some people's breath (not that it was bad smelling either) it was CRAZY! Welcome to pregnancy!! Don't worry there is a GREAT reward for you after going through all this crap! It's well worth it! Oh & just wait til pregnancy brain kicks in...I swear mine still hasn't bounced back from it!! Love ya!
