I've been working a lot this week. My peer is on vacation, but my boss has been great. I take long lunches and have been able to create a schedule that meets both the business needs and mine. Works out great! This week I signed up for the "Beginning Right" Maternity program through my health insurance. Basically, what it entails is a survey that takes about 20 minutes where they ask me questions about my health habits, weight, eating, sleeping, whether I'm using drugs/alcohol, taking vitamins, living with an abuser, etc. Then, they make recommendations and give you information on how to spot pre-term labor. You also get a Mayo Clinic guide to pregnancy mailed to you, and I get a voucher from Amazon for a Britax car seat. I also get a nurse case manager that calls every 6 weeks, and who has given me their number to call anytime I have a question. Not a bad thing to have. Now I can stop harassing Terri:)
Nugget update: Nugget is about the size of a peach this week. I didn't know this but the baby's intestines were growing within the umbilical cord, and are now making their trek to their rightful place within Nugget. Also developing this week are vocal cords. Gosh I hope this baby sings like Daddy!
