A note from Granny or Nan

 Dear Nugget,

 

You are almsot here!  We can't wait to see you, but we already know you look like a big mix of your Mommy, your Daddy and is that your Aunt Amy's nose???

 

I just wanted to tell you that if you are a girl, I pray you'll have grace, beauty and intelligence, (just like your Mommy!) and if you are a boy, I pray you'll have Courage, Integrity and Intelligence (just like your Daddy!), and no matter what you are, I pray you will be born healthy  and stay healthy.   You are already so loved and we are all so excited to have you in our lives all ready.  We haven't had another baby to play with since Zane and he's so grown up that Nan and Poppy aren't his world anymore and we miss that.  By the way, you can call us what you want, all the other kids around call us Nan and Poppy but if you want to call us Granny and Pappaw that will be o.k. too!  Every child needs a Granny and a Pappaw!

 

You all live so far away it's going to be really, really hard to be with you a lot but what time we do have I can promise we'll make it count!  Remember, what happens at my house stays at my house (Mommy and Daddy doesn't have to know everything! LOG!  (That stands for lots of giggles!))

 

I bought a Juicer so that when you get old enough to eat your veggies, (Yes, you have eat some) we can make your very own...you won't have to eat that yucky stuff in the jars.  Poppy or Pappaw, whatever you choose to call him is very excited about you too...he's already talking about taking you fishing, Yuck!  

 

Anyway, just wanted you to know, I pray you will be safe from all the evils in the world; but should you encounter them, please make wise decisions and if you ever need help, just call on the cell phone I'll get you when you are three (you'll have my number memorized by then!).

 

So Nugget, just wanted you to know that we are all waiting and hurry up in there!  I know you are trying,  according to your Mommy you are trying really hard to get big enough to come out; but slow down just a little because we want you here healthy and safe.
