Especially now that we have a pediatrician, a daycare, a rockstar
start to your room, and registries done. Now, to make sure you have
everything you need. Time is just flying. I think about you
constantly, but that could be because you never let me not. Your
movements go from being so soft and slow and graceful to remix mode,
complete with what feels like little belly flops. As I write, you are
moving my arm.
So, I was feeling pretty defeated by this special diet and all, but
given our families history of diabetes I've come to the conclusion it
is good for all of us to learn how to eat right for your sake. Also,
last night I made squash for the first time in my life. It was really
good! So, hopefully you get to an age where nobody makes anything as
good as your mommy (that's how I feel about my mom's cooking, and how
Daddy feels about his mom's cooking- just wait... You'll see!)
This week I worked with my boss on a new schedule so I can make things
in my life an equal priority. And take really good care of us while
you are in utero. It's been really nice spending time with daddy at
the dinner table each night and working to clean up the dishes
afterwards. Don't get too used to the dishes part (you'll get that
chore some day;))
I can't wait for you to meet all the people who are so
excited to meet you. Colton turned three this week, and it is stunning
to me he is that old already! He has grown up so much this year and I
know you guys are going to be quite a trio some day, with Baby Woosley
coming in just 6 more weeks.
Subsequently, in 6 more weeks I will also turn 32. I will be 50 when
you graduate high school, and 72 when you get married! Haha!
Well, I need to get ready to go to work now, the countdown to your
birthday has begun!
Happy belly flopping!
All my love, Mom
