21 weeks and you must be happy because I feel you move all the time
these days! Twice this week I even thought I felt you from the
outside! This past weekend, Daddy and I stayed at Nan and Pop's house.
We went to a luau at Lesley's, went to see Tracey, and spent time with
the family. Zane came over and spent quite a bit of time with us which
was much needed. Baby brain must truly be settling in because I forgot
to put gas in the car, and we nearly ran out in Hoosier National
Forest at night. We pulled into a gas station on fumes, and boy was I
glad!
This week we moved into temporary housing. We closed on the sale of
our Louisville home last week, and the house in Shelbyville won't be
ready for another two weeks. At some point in your life, you may ask
me why Shelbyville. So here's the deciding factors for us.
1. Our home was less expensive, which ensures we are better prepared
for you financially.
2. I work in Lexington and Daddy works in Louisville. When you get
sick at daycare or you need something, we don't want you to wait an
hour for us to get there if we can help it.
3. We will be closer to our family and friends who love us so dearly.
I never thought I would ever do small town living again, but here we go.
In terms of how I am feeling this week, I feel better than I ever have
throughout this pregnancy! My stomach has grown quite a bit over the
past week or so, but then again you have doubled in size.
My next doctors appointment is in 6 days and we get to see an
ultrasound of your pretty face. I think that there will be an audience
as well.
Days are ticking by and I can't wait to get settled to prepare for
your arrival better!
Love, Mom
