2 years 9 months

> Hello my love. Well, since my last entry, we found out our family of three will be a family of four. Your little brother will be joining us in the end of October. We are so excited, but I am a little nervous too. I can't imagine how different we will be. We have a nice groove now, so it will be interesting to see how you react to sharing your time, attention, and toys.
>
> In terms of what you are up to, you are a horrible eater these days. You only want cereal bars. Clearly that's not an option:) You are finally not crying when we drop you off for preschool. Yay! You give hugs and kisses so willingly these days. You can climb out of your bed now, so you walk into our room to wake us up now. You talk all the time, an still use that pa-fier. You have given up on potty training completely. "Emmy do it" is the phrase of the day. You want to do whatever is needing to be done-especially getting in and out of the car.
>
> You like to sing to daddy and sing along to kids songs in the car. You have best friends, and want to see them all the time (Bake and Cabah). When we pick you up from preschool, you direct parents to the rooms their children are in and say, "Bye, Friends!" The other night you told Daddy to shhh, and if I'm giving him a hard time, you say, "mommy, don't talk to daddy!"
>
> Sometimes, if you miss your nap, I get some real gems. The other day you yelled,"Don't see me!"
>
> It was storming the other night and you asked us if we heard the dunder. You also say crocodowell, which I love.
>
> I love you! We aren't likely going to name your brother "sister" as you have suggested, but I know you are going to be a great big sister!
> Love,
> Mom
