Wisdom from Dad

This was when you first started walking. It flies by I remember your Mom and I just holding our arms up and trying to get you to walk back an forth to us. You would get so excited at yourself. You really are a smart and pretty girl. You will always be smart and pretty. Don't ever let anyone tell you different. You can do anything you set your mind to do. The hard things in life are worth doing, sometimes it is the journey that you learn the most rather than the destination. Never quit reading or learning. Also, I know these are random but I just want to make sure I say these things to you. You will find more fulfillment out of life if you focus on your mind, your body and your spirit. When any of these three things are out of balence you will need to work to set them back in balence. Love the Lord with all your heart. He will get your through anything. Don't marry a man that doesn't also love the lord. He should treat you at all times like an angel. He should also be your best friend. Other random thoughts. It never hurts to say sorry first. Give money away, you will find far greater reward than having it all to yourself. Give anonymously. Know yourself before ever getting married. Make sure you dance and dance often, your mate must know how to dance. Being physically fit, not only makes your feel better, it shows people your not lazy. Owning your own business means you can never be fired, you can however go bankrupt. Always pay yourself a wage if you own your own business. Look for residual incomes to build your business. A home mortgage yearly payment should never be more than 20% or less of your annual gross income. Financial freedom comes from simply having less debt. Don't marry into debt. Your spouse can not be a spend thrift and you save money, doesn't work. If you can ever pay cash, do. Cash is a real negotiating tool, few people have this tool. Always save for a rainy day. You should be able to lose your job and still make all your financial obligations for six months. Out of every paycheck you save some. Buying something on credit is dumb, really dumb especially if you pay the minimum payment. You just more than likely over paid for a depreciating asset. Not smart. If something is worth it, work hard and save for it, you feel better about the purchase when your reach your goal. No one ever felt good a month later about something they bought on credit. You should never own a credit card if possible. Another bit of advice work hard, even harder when your younger. Piercing your face or head makes you ugly. Ears are fine. When ever possible grow your own food or raise your own livestock. When too many hands touch the food you eat from start to finish the food has lost its nutrients, taste and cleanliness. It never ceases to amaze me at the HUGE difference between home grown and store bought. Whenever possible always buy food from farmers markets.
Make time to paint and draw. O loved to paint. That is all I have for now.
