33 weeks and nearly 8 months old. Where has the time gone? Well, we have experienced more firsts since I last wrote. You are still babbling, but no discernible or purposeful words. You want to stand all the time and you love your jumperoo from nana and papa. You are eating tons of new foods, sitting up like a champ, will be crawling any day now, and seem to be getting some lumpy gums. You seem to be a bit more clingy these days. You also have had your first haircut and we had our first mothers day! You started with a new sitter today. Her name is Candace and she is so sweet. I'm glad you were a good girl for her. She's going to come back tomorrow:)
So Daddy and I are still having the weekly chat of how do we manage our lives and ensure you get everything you need while keeping our jobs. We have found a cleaning lady, an in-home sitter, a new huge washer and dryer, and my hours at work have changed. I think we have pulled every cord and turned every lever. If this doesn't work out, something else will have to give.
It's amazing how when you feel abandoned in how to figure out things how God makes it obvious that you aren't alone. Trust that, Emery. On my day of melt down, I met Candace.
I was baptized last Sunday at Southeast Christian. Granny, Pop, Nana, Papa, Gram T, Amy, Anne, Craig, Hunter, and Colton, Tiffany and the Congletons all came out to watch your Daddy baptize me. It's very special having him do the baptism. We've been through a lot in the three years we have been married, and I am grateful every day that God brought us together and you came to be as a result. I looked at you and knew that I wanted the peace for you that comes from knowing there is a plan, a reason for the pains, the beauty of God's love, and the purity of baptism. In order to give that to you, I go before you.
I love you, EJ!
